One of the living contributions from having a garden is the relationship between the gardener and the plants.
When your planting is complete, discovering the joy of gardening begins. The ongoing care and nurturing of the garden creates a shared awareness between the plants, yourself, your family and friends. It’s a time of self-discovery, finding a simple wholeness with other living things, the soil, water and the weather.
When your time to garden is cramped by other activities our Garden Care program can be there for you.
NORTHWIND’S GARDEN CARE PROGRAM
Initially we’ll have a discussion with you to understand how you want to participate in the stewardship program for your garden. Our experienced gardeners bring knowledge of plants and use best practices to care for and enhance the health and aesthetics of your plantings.
Our gardeners can create a stewardship plan for you that explains all our gardening actions and practices for your specific planting needs. We always enjoy explaining our gardening methods, encouraging your questions and insight into the future of your garden.
As your garden matures, together we can take a look at various planting enhancements for the future. We call this practice ‘Gardening It Up’ adding plants with colorful, textural and architectural characteristics that you can emotionally mingle into your existing plant communities. Now smart gardening is providing you the ability to do things because you want to not because you have to.
